PRIME TIME: 10 more minutes.

All of the results will be on in about 10 minutes. This document is sloppy. I did my best to post as they were announcing them. The internet is horrible.

VP COMMUNICATIONS

57,4% - Julie Séguin
43% - François Picard

Prime Time: Pathetic reaches a new level

After listening to the Fresh Prince of Bel Air song... Yes, you heard correctly. The Fresh Prince of Bel Air theme song...

We are now listening to a speech by Sylvia. It is hard to understand what she is saying, something about booze tickets. (Direct reference to this blog!) Presents the results... I will write them down as I hear them and write them more officially later on in the night.

Student Affairs:
Danika wins. 60 something %

Social Affairs:
57% - Joel Larose

Vp University Affairs:
78% Seamus Wolfe
WOW. Shocker. Seamus had predicted a similar result.

VP Finance:
91,7% Roxanne Dubois

Prime Time: Sylvia is here

François Olivier Dorais just confirmed that Sylvia has arrived.

Jason Chiu snapped this amazing photo.

Matter of minutes.

Prime Time: Results coming in the next minutes

Unless someone pulls a fire alarm, which I deeply hope does not happen, we will only have to endure this repulsive party for another few minutes.

According to both Dean Haldenby and Ryan Kennery, the results should be in shortly. This would confirm Nicholas Laplante's information given a few minutes ago, which he was not supposed to give me.

Final stretch. I will try to get photos of the people scrambling outside from the Fire alarm... Which is literally, right across the street.

Prime Time: Fire Alarm in New Res

What a night. Someone just started the fire alarm in the New Res. What's next? Someone might pull one here in the UniCentre and we will have to leave. Wow. I hope that does not happen.

Prime Time: Sylvia Havard-Lewis is apparently on her way

According to Nicholas Laplante, Sylvia Havard-Lewis told him she was on her way but not to talk to this blogger.

Our CEO ladies and gentlemen.

Prime Time: Exit Blake Thibault

Tough words from Blake Thibault.

Asked if he thought he had a chance to beat Seamus Wolfe, he did not hesitate: "No."

"I would rather be a thorn in the SFUO's hypocrisy, than to be leading it."

And there you have it. Another race that The SFUO blog declares over.

Prime Time: Seamus Wolfe is also annoyed

The Julie Séguin crew is dancing it up on the dance floor. It is really a horrible site and we will not publish the photos.

As for Seamus Wolfe, he seems just as annoyed as this blogger at the wait.

Hopefully the Dojo will get a chance to speak with Wolfe's challenger, Blake Thibault, who been completely absent.

Amy Kishek, also a candidate for the BOA, has expressed some serious disgust: "Tell them about the orgy that is taking place due to the wait."

And I have.

Prime Time: Mike Fancie is Fancy'in up

Mike Fancie, candidate for the BOA elections, is accidentally wearing the same thing as Ryan Kennery.

The race in social sciences is a straight forward one. Seven candidates. Six positions. Fancie is a Picard volunteer.

Prime Time: No referendum update

We at SFUO Blog are sorry to say that we have no results concerning the referendum questions.

We will keep everyone posted. Note to scrutineers, if you feel like ending the agony, you can send an email to sfuo@wassim.ca or send a text message to (819) 208-4237

Prime Time: Everyone knows the results...

... So just announce them officially?

There are whispers all over the place on the results. Apparently, and this is just a rumour, but seems to be a founded one, Julie Séguin is leading François Picard. No results are final.

A rival editor has just expressed her disdain for the music and mcing being conducted.

This blogger is personally disgusted with the bad dancing, bad music, and most of all, just lame atmosphere. What are we waiting for?

BLAKE THIBAULT has arrived.
Apparently it's concerning certain BOA positions.

Prime Time: Lame ass party at 1848

The party at 1848 is pathetic. Most BOA candidates are not even here. Most races seem to be assumed, except for VP Communications, and even now, there are some rumours swirling around.

Message to the elections office: How long does it take to count 3000 votes.

Prime Time: François Picard fist pumping

François Picard is in the building. In fact, he's been in the building for a while. His volunteers and friends are all around the UniCentre, smoking, talking, debating, and any other -ing you can think of.

Seen confident on this photo, sources tell us Julie Séguin had a slight lead after the first day. Nothing is confirmed and the lead might change.

Prime Time: "Where did that photo come from?"

"Where did that photo come from?" "Who's your spy" said Sylvia Havard-Lewis over a phone conversation a few minutes ago.

According to Havard-Lewis, the laptop is her's, and not Hrick's. Also according to Havard-Lewis, the computer was not connected to the internet.

Which raises a question, how did Havard-Lewis know that we had posted that to the internet?

***

On another note, Havard-Lewis said that she will have results soon if we stop calling.

Prime Time: What is Pam Hrick upset about?

Why is Pam Hrick, SFUO President, upset? Sources inside the meeting confirm that scrutineers are reading this blog. Pam Hrick is also reading this blog and she is upset about the two recent posts concerning her presence inside the room. Most notably her implication on the Sylvia phone conversation.

More information coming soon.

According to Nicholas Laplante, official representatives should not be allowed to have computers or cell phones. It is still unclear as to Pam Hrick's role inside of the meeting. But she does have a laptop.

Prime Time: Rumours

Lots of rumours.

I will be posting them in the next 10 minutes. I have 1 confirmation. I'm waiting for a second and I will post the results for VP Communications.

Prime Time: Delays, delays, delays

Austin Menyasz wrote a comment wondering what the hell was going on with the results.

I just got off a very bizarre conversation with Sylvia Havard-Lewis, CEO.

"Hello?"
"Hi, Sylvia, it's Wassim."
"Shit. How do I put this on hold?"
- Third voice: "Who is it?"
- Sylvia answering: "Wassim."
-Third voice: "Don't pick up."
- Sylvia answering: "Too late. He's there. How do I put it on hold."

I am tempted to say the third voice was that of Pam Hrick's.

After this little game, I was told to wait at least another hour. Or in Sylvia's words:

"Yeah, another hour... for now. Have fun."

Nick Taylor-Vaisey and the rest of the Fulcrum staff have heard 1:30.

I'm going to do everything I can to get a leak.

Prime Time: Still no results, but interesting conversations

There have been zero results, but many interesting conversations between candidates and journalists.

Serge Miville, candidate for the BOA, is philosophicating with François-Olivier Dorais, journalist of La Rotonde, on the merits of having all Board members pass a bilingualism exam. This is where campaign ideas happen.

Thoughts?

Prime Time: Waiting for Picard

Where is François Picard? We are still waiting for Picard and that is the only topic of conversation. Except for Kennery which is lobbying hard for booze tickets. Still no answer to his question.

The crowd is getting rowdy. Apparently Joël Larose and Liz Doneathy are playing "pennies", some type of drinking game.
