Pre-Game Show: Random streeters

Jessica MacDonald and Graham Cwinn, two theatre students at the University of Ottawa have decided not to vote. I randomly went to see them to ask them if they voted and they reluctantly answered. Then I said: "Oh no, don't worry. I'm not a candidate." To which they laughed.

For MacDonald,

"it is a conscious decision. Initially, I intended to vote, then it was lazyness, now it's intention. I was always involved in High School, I was on the student council, I spent long hours after school, and there was a big award at graduaction. I lost. Ever since, I've stayed out of student involvement. So basically out of spite."

For Cwinn, the reasons are a bit different:

"It's too late in the game to be able to follow what is going on. I don't know what is going on and I don't want to vote randomly."

Do they not read the campus papers? "No."
