Most Francophone leaders of campus are here. Maybe that is a bit of an overstatement, but la Lieu is a French only student organisation and attracts roughly 100 students per week to their events. Their Valentine's day game is their biggest event of the year. Combined with the SFUO elections, 1848 is the place to be tonight.
Simon Lalande, Serge Miville, and many others are already here.
It just occured to me that most people outside of Ottawa might not know Simon and Serge. Simon was the President of the Association de l'Ontario francophone a few years ago... while being a student at the U of O. Serge started a group called "La Patente" on campus to combat injustices against francophonest at the U of O.
Dean Haldenby above my shoulder is asking to be included on this list. To be fair, he asked in French.
