Both Dean Haldenby and Renaud-Philippe Garner were doing the same class presentation this morning. RPG definitely won based on the very unofficial "applause meter". RPG went first and completely threw Haldenby off by thanking and acknowledging him at the end of his presentation for not resorting to personal attacks.
We will have some Renaud photos and sound bites later on in the day, but Renaud's class presentations are ranking first in originality, tone and energy.
Someone just told me: "Imagine if he had posters."

It will be interesting if in the debates dean will show he clearly has a better grasp of the fed.
For example the claim of a 50% opt-out is nothing but a political move. Anyone who was involved in the process to get a bus pass knows this was attempted but there is absolutely no way OC transpo would do it with an opt out.
I hope someone will call these candidates on making a claim they can not back in anyway.
class presentations are about being witty, quick and energetic. Not about good ideas, good policies or good leadership.
however they are very important.
RPG, Renaud Philippe Garner
RPS, Rock Paper Scissors
There's a bad joke waiting to happen.
I saw RPG in one classroom and it was either the scariest or most impressive speech I have seen in a long time.
It just stands out.
someone make the man posters
How un-ethical would that be? ;)
I saw Dean and thought he did a great job in the class presentation. He's a good speaker with great ideas! Go Dean!
What does this guy look like?! Certainly can't be as good looking as dean in that photo.
RPG and RPS?
I think the more likely joke would involve Role Playing Games... you know, D&D style.
I hate RPG's speeches. He's full of hot air.
