No matter how "clean" and "nice" elections are, no one likes to lose, and no one likes to feel like they were cheated. There will be allegations going from one side to the other all night between Picard and Séguin. I have already heard certain Picard volunteers telling me that Séguin continued her Facebook campaign well after the "permitted" period.
Again, I fail to see how these allegations, even if founded, will play a major role in the campaign, but I am not the one running... So...
For the record, I would have been in favour for allowing candidates to campaign until the polling booths were all closed. Then again, a rule is a rule. Ah. University Politics.

I was unable to get rid of my shift at the Oncology Ward at the General Hospital and I have been able to enjoy the day's excitement through your blog.
As a BOA candidate, I would have loved to come and chat with you this afternoon, but I have been here since 14h30... and anxious to leave in 6 minutes to head on over to 1848 for the results. I am also sad that I missed the Sex Impro ce soir! C'est toujours bon!

Pour ceux qui ont déjà créé une annonce sur facebook... vous verrez que la durée de l'annonce commence à 00:01 du matin et se termine à minuit, sans exception. Donc si mon annonce apparaît encore à la gauche de votre profil facebook, je m'en excuse, je ne peux rien y faire.
En ce qui concerne mon site web et mon groupe facebook, plusieurs candidats les ont aussi laissés en ligne.
Après que la période de campagne soit terminée, j'étais tout simplement la Maison à savourer mon premier repas complet depuis trois semaines. Une bonne grosse poutine graisseuse.

For the record, I checked Facebook between 6pm (when the campaigning was cut off) and 7:30pm (when the polls closed) in order to find out who to vote for. And there was one person who came up...
