By-election campaign: The Dean Machine™

Pardon the poor quality. Good idea by Haldenby, but I would have to say, failed execution. He had an interesting coalition of volunteers, with many people with very different political backgrounds cheering him on. But clearly short of his objectives.

He could have used a microphone and much more volunteers. His speech (cut short here), only focused on a UniCentre.

One more video coming up shortly.

I thought the rally went quite well! After the speech in the Agora, for which many passer-bys stopped by to watch, the volunteers and supporters, along with Dean, processed through the UCU, Library, MRT, and outside to remind students to go out and vote. The feedback for the initiative was great!

Yup, it was fun and got us pumped for the blitz that followed. But here's the best part: even if the general opinion, from what I can hear and see around the campus, is that Dean's opponents don't stand a chance, he's still the one putting the more effort in his campaign and trying to reach students in new creative ways.
